Following the Covid-19 pandemic, Expo 2020 Dubai postponed by a year from its original schedule. The conveyor-belt sushi chain Sushiro will open a restaurant in the Japanese Pavilion, with 22 other sponsors confirmed.
Sushiro is the only restaurant operator in the Japanese Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. FOOD & LIFE COMPANIES (the operator of Sushiro) expressed its determination. “We want to convey the beauty of Japanese sushi to visitors from around the world. By utilizing full use of the finest sushi ingredients and the latest technology”.
“We will work together with our sponsors to recreate Sushiro’s devotion to deliciousness with halal compliance at the Dubai Expo”. “This will be our first appearance in the Middle East. We will take this opportunity to promote the Sushiro brand among international patrons, leading to future overseas expansion.”
The 22 sponsors include fishery, agricultural and livestock-related businesses, manufacturers and distributors of commercial kitchen equipment, POS, lightweight systems, sushi robots and more.
The Dubai Expo is the first World Expo (or Registered Exhibition) in the Middle East and Africa region. It will take place in Dubai, UAE, in 2021 (the 50th anniversary of the country’s founding).
