New Muslim-friendly restaurant opens in renewed KIX food court

A new food court opened on 1 October in the domestic area of Kansai International Airport (KIX), which underwent renovation.

On the same day, Gourmet Kineya Restaurant opened a new branch of its Homemade Udon KINEYA MUGIMARU on the 2nd floor of KIX. This is a Muslim-friendly store that uses flour produced in Mie Prefecture, serving freshly made and freshly boiled udon noodles in a self-service format. It operates from 7:00-22:00.

Gourmet Kineya Restaurant has been operating a halal-compliant (Muslim-friendly) Homemade Udon KINEYA MUGIMARU store in the Narita International Airport terminal.
