Speech-to-text app translates with a finger swipe

“Swipe Talk®”(しゃべり描き®) is an application using Mitsubishi Electric’s patented technology, commercially developed by Kanematsu Communications. With this unique app, it can show what you say as text by moving your finger on your smartphone or tablet.

Translations are available in 15 languages so far. You can directly translate words–on maps, photos, hand-drawings and others–shown on the screen where you want to know into a foreign language. Now you can even share your screen remotely with up to 50 people.

Swipe Talk® was originally a tool to support people who are hard of hearing. Due to its convenience, it has become a system with a wide range of uses, including when communicating with foreigners and in educational settings.
