Gunma readies Halal aid for possible new Covid wave

Gunma opens a health observation centre for people recuperating at home to prepare for a rapid rise in new COVID-19 cases. For daily necessity supplies, halal options are available.

At the centre, the nursing staff will monitor the health of infected patients recovering at home by calling them about once a day for their temperature, blood oxygen concentration, cough, breathing difficulties, and others.

Patients also receive a pulse oximeter to measure their blood oxygen levels, along with food, hygiene items and other daily necessities when needed. Both pulse oximeters and daily supplies are delivered without contact (leaving the package by the door, etc.).

For more information, please visit Gunma Prefecture’s official website below.
