Tokyo Disneyland: ¥56billion new Space Mountain in 2027

SPACE MOUNTAIN at Tokyo Disneyland is about to undergo a complete makeover.

The current SPACE MOUNTAIN has been a popular attraction since the park opened in 1983. This renewal will cost a massive JPY56 billion (≈USD427 mil.). While maintaining the style of its indoor roller coaster, the new SPACE MOUNTAIN will include special effects and such, with plans to reopen in 2027, along with its surrounding area.

The current attraction is due to close in 2024.
